Publishers control how sniply works on your site

At Sniply, we strive to create the best content sharing experience for both sharers and content owners. Our call-to-actions are subtle, closable and non-intrusive. We always use canonical headers (details) so your domain gets all of the link credit (aka 'LinkJuice'). We don't interfere with your navigation and we take care that your analytics are unaffected.

I don't want Sniply on my site...

If you don't want traffic from Sniply, we understand - we still love you! We offer several easy methods to opt-out your site from Sniply.

Opt-out Meta Tag

  1. Copy and paste this meta tag into your site's code, between the <head> tags on your site. It tells Sniply you don't want us to snip your website.

    <meta name="sniply-options" content="block" />

  2. Once you've added the above code to pages you'd like to have Sniply stop snipping, let's check that everything's setup correctly. Enter the URL you added the meta tag code snippet to and click Verify.

    Note: Please use the above form to check that you installed the code correctly. Once we've verified the code is setup correctly, our system will start preventing new snips to your site. It may take several hours for all changes to propagate through our system.

Opt-out Header

  1. In addition to the industry standard X-Frame-Options header, you can specifically tell Sniply to stop snipping your site with a Sniply Header.

    If you'd like no websites to be able to frame you, add this header to your site. (How to add headers to your site: Mozilla Walkthrough)

    X-Frame-Options DENY

    If you'd like to opt-out of only Sniply, add this header to your site.

    Sniply-Options BLOCK

  2. Once you've added the above header to pages you'd like to have Sniply stop snipping, let's check that everything's setup correctly. Enter your URL to test and click Verify.

    Note: Please use the above form to check that you installed the code correctly. Once we've verified the code is setup correctly, our system will start preventing new snips to your site. It may take several hours for all changes to propagate through our system.
